A few words about
Dots. Art for all
Eugenia Maofi was born in Athens in April 1974. She studied Psychology and worked in Special Education for over 25 years.
At the same time, she trained in Silversmithing, which she had been practicing for years in her free time.
Inspired by alternative communication systems, combined with her love for diversity, her advocacy for human rights, and her passion for art and creativity, she eventually decided to bring them all together. This led her to create the jewelry line Dots. Art for all, which she continues to enrich with new designs as well as other accessories.
Dots. Art for all
Dots. Art for all are handcrafted jewelry pieces that carry messages, wishes, and ideas, engraved in Braille, Sign Language, and various symbols.
They are intended for everyone who supports diversity and wants to give meaning to what they wear.
A beautiful and chic way to spread the message of equality and inclusivity — or to “wear” your idea through coded writing that you can choose to reveal if you wish.
At the same time, people with visual or hearing impairments have the opportunity to own jewelry or accessories in the language or communication system they use.
According to Eugenia, jewelry on its own cannot make us happy. But our mindset and our actions can. The meaning we give to what we wear, therefore, can contribute to that.
With a minimal style, few words yet many meanings, symbols, and dots, Dots. Art for all jewelry invites us to see the world through different eyes…
Dots. Art for all: Jewelry that rebels and wants to change the world!
